Who said anything about turning up on tyres below the legal limit?

As you say, half-worn tyres will be better than new, which will just get ripped to bits. I don't care if that happens to anyone else's particularly, but it's worth mentioning to people who might ruin a grand's worth of tyres thinking they are doing the right thing.

To quote you

"well worn tyres"

Now you have unworn = new
worn = half new
well worn = scrubbed near legal limit

In my eyes, but YMMV :D

That's a good point - well worn tyres are a much better bet on the track than brand new tyres with full tread, assuming it's not tipping down.

Well done all...we are getting there...........

Clearly MM does V :D

Don't put words in my mouth please - I never said scrubbed near legal limit.

I will be using what I call well worn tyres - a set I've specifically got on another set of rims just to use on track. And they will be legal when I leave Brunty.

Fair enough but well worn Implies that they are just that and that would mean to most not legal or just on the edge.

The picture of Rob getting out of the boot is good. This year he should find somewhere better to sleep, though.

His mate in the C63 is amusing though... At least, there's plenty of giggling going on in this clip.

Not at Bruntingthorpe but this was shot at a similar event at Dunsfold. I love the final hair :)

Brilliant! Really shows the performance of an Atom against the big heavy "supercars".

Indeed that's why our cars are no where near as much fun on the track. I would love an atom or radical etc for that reason alone.

Drew, look at how quick this one is, the short gear changes, the turbo whistle and then the tank slapper at over 100! :)

Yep - they are so close to being road-legal racing cars really.

Looks like we will have some support from a Maserati Main Dealer for Brunty :)

They have agreed to bring their tall Maserati flags for the gate, and a couple of cars. Clearly, if they can bring along a Stradale, there's going to be a queue of people willing to look after it. I can assure you that I'm going to be at the front of that queue :)

With my Mrs helping on the gate I'm hoping she'll fall in love with it during the day and buy me an early Christmas pressie. 1..2..3..and back in the room. :)

It'll be great to have the support. Top marks to the dealer for that.
