David I've okayed it with Jason for all of us to put ourselves down as Leeds Supercar Meet so we can all be parked together. I've pm'ed this info to Benny and Drew.

Hmmmm, didn't get a PM Arfa, but I've read this anyway. Booked with the Leeds Supercar Meet as you suggested :)

I didn't get a pm either Arfa, so I'm just going to pitch up and tell them I'm with the Leeds mob and hope for the best. I'll be aiming to get there mid/late morning. See you there!

Strange that as it's showing in my sent folder as going to both of you on 17th April. Still shouldn't be a problem Benny. See you all there .

Not sure. We are leaving Leeds with the supercar group around 8/8.30 but will be taking a roundabout route there. I'd imagine about 10.

499 cars booked in as of today with best turn out of Massers ever so weather permitting it should be good. Unfortunately one of them isn't going to be mine. The local garage fitting my new brakes have made a right ball* of the job and I'll have to trailer the car to Marios to get it put right. As a result we'll be in Pam's car.

Sorry to hear that Arfa - what were they doing to wreck them??

Will be in the Spyder tomorrow, as the sun is promising to shine - see you all up there :)

I put in for them to replace the discs and pads as I was short of time to do it myself thinking it was a straightforward job that didn't need a specialist. They managed to strip a thread in a rear caliper so tòok it off to get it helicoiled. They then couldn't get the brakes to bleed properly. I have taken the car back with the brakes binding that badly that they are almost stuck on and with the brake lights permanently on. Lesson learnt there.

Excellent day, good early morning blast with the Leeds Supercar Meet up there, and an excellent turnout of cars at the show. Weather was good too!
Nice to meet up with fellow SM's.
Car of the show for me was an Alfa 33 Permanent 4 just like I owned 20 years ago...dickyb would have loved it!

No, was too busy speaking to the owner, they are so rare we chatted for ages about them and as I walked up he suspected I knew what it was as I went for the rear badge with the tailgate open to check! He does a few k a year in it and has owned it for about 10 years. He's online so suspect you might know him. Was a J plate car, red, looked quite solid but with a few battle scars, hence original condition.

Ferrari Californias on Mercedes chassis....I don't think I would have known until Benny pointed them out!
Such a lot to spend on the conversion, to just drive around in a lie!
