Sorry Doohickey - did my Spyder get in the way of the photo of your GT? :D

Benny's face was a picture when I told him there were a couple of "Calis" built on Merc running gear :)

Great to meet up with a few more SMers - super day out, and the setting was magnificent.

This was a good event with a good turn out. If anybody is up for it we could make this an SM northern event next year and make it a full weekend from Friday to Sunday. I'd be happy to
organise if enough people are interested. Any interest?

Yeah count me in.
...what with tents and stuff?!
(actually quite like a bit of camping if the weather is okay!)

Not at all. I was trying to be artistic! Sorry I didn't get to say hello.

Yep - some nice photos there... I like the shot, don't get me wrong! :D

Shame we didn't get to say hello - happens at many meets like that; missed FF1078 too. Always another day though OB...

Just got home after a fantastic weekend. A really good turnout and an interesting mix of cars at Newby. Sorry for not getting to meet everyone but arriving late didn't help; everyone seemed to have wandered off! A really good drive back, some normal sped and some pretty decent speeds. We called in on two lots of old school friends and stopped off for a cracking curry for dinner. Thanks guys and we hope to see you all again soon. Regards.

Nice photos David, loving the green 240Z - always been a fan. I'm glad the weather behaved itself too

No toasting marshmallows and telling tall stories around a camp fire then....I'm out!
Being serious couldn't get a tent in the boot of the Maser anyway...not one that could be of a high enough standard anyway with the necessary home comforts!

Ferrari Californias on Mercedes chassis....I don't think I would have known until Benny pointed them out!

Don't worry mate, I found it hard to believe as well! It's only the interior that really gives the game away, that and the plastic brake callipers! ;)

Did you endure the trip round the house Ben, or have you been asleep since then for other reasons?

No mate, we gave up on the tour this time but will do it the next time we go over to visit our friends in the third world. I've spent all day catching up on outstanding jobs and another couple of days should see me getting straight.
