What do you make of this?
Incredible footage, astounded pilots, absurd speeds....
Are we alone?

They certainly move quicker than the Uk trying to leave the Eu!
It’s very mysterious to hear pilots speak in awe of whatever these things are.
Humans can’t pilot them- we can’t handle the forces, so who is and what are they doing? Seems the new radar has opened up another world previously unseen!

There’s a theory that the t-rex can’t clap because it’s arms are too short whereas I posit it’s because they are all dead.

I’m saving up for a telescope...

They walk amongst us!

I’m neither convinced nor sceptical, I’m sure life is far more prevent in the universes than has previously been thought of. That is not to say it is upright walking sentient & humanoid. I do think we will discover simple forms within this solar system in the next couple of years. If we do the odds on intelligent life as we label it being found become massively more plausible.

I'll bite. Why do you keep saying this?

I dunno! I’m actually saving up (well considering buying) some Uilleann Pipes, but I remembered Roly on ‘Uncle’ saying he was saving up for a telescope and it just seemed so off the wall it tickled my funny bone...

The pipes are £5495 btw....

They do sound lovely though. (Bet you weren't expecting someone to know what they were) and QOTD: What pop hit did the appear in? (Actually more than I expected) and not soo much of a hit but there we are!

If there's life here why not somewhere else , I read years ago that if dinosaurs hadn't been wiped out by an asteroid they'd have reached the stars by now , then you see reptiles that have been around for millions of years that are still crawling around on river banks so who knows

I've always wondered if the earth was seeded by aliens as an experiment , they then come back every few decades to see how we're getting on.

If Boris makes it to PM while Trump is President they'll probably just throw another asteroid at the earth and start again

The dinosaurs were not wiped out, they saw the asteroid coming and left in their space ships. The ones left behind that became the fossils were part of a breakaway cult called Trexit (T-rexit) where short armed species thought they should not be part of the common good. Converted some of the other species too. Didn’t end well.

Honestly.

I saw a UFO 30 years ago late at night with a mate driving home from the pub, who also saw it.
A week or so later it was reported in the local paper.
Then about 5 years ago the same sightings on the same night was released to the public by on duty police officer reports, and again reported in the local paper.
I know what I saw that night was not possible by anything of our science and engineering, i'm a believer we are not alone!!

I’m interested...what did you see?

I saw one too in Cyprus about 8 years ago. Unfortunately mine wasn’t of the saucer/metallic variety.
It was around 1630 in the afternoon and we were driving back from the gym. Ahead in the distance was a very bright light, stood out from everything else. It just maintained this position in the Sky....we watched it for 10-15 secs and then it accelerated out of sight within a second or so.....0- god knows what speed in a second....disappeared in a long looping ark (kinda like when they hit warp drive in the Millennium falcon in the movies).

When I was a kid in the school yard, about six, lining up we all saw this weird thing in the sky, was like a Scaletrix track in the sky, white, partly hidden by cloud, like a 135 degrees of a curve and straight bit - and a weird humming noise. Wasn't metallic actually a bit like cloud but very clearly defined and not fluffy and definitely not a cloud formation.

We all heard it and saw it - and stared up at it for ages before it disappeared.

Never forgot it, can picture it now, and it was 51 years ago.....
