Bouncing off the atmosphere as too shallow an entry.I'm of the belief that to think that with a Universe of infinite size, it would be foolish to believe that we are the only living things in it.
After all we've only explored 1% of our seas, and even less of the universe.
As for UFO sightings, which I was in Cape Verde a few years ago, I saw a shooting star, which my wife also saw.
Then I saw another. (which she didn't).
Then I thought about it for a second, and thought, don't shooting stars generally have a downward trajectory? this one had an upward one.
Haven't a clue what it was, but it was leaving in the 'wrong' direction and at a speed that meant it could not possibly be anything from this earth.
Maybe it can be explained by science, maybe not.

Good luck with that.I'm still looking for signs of sentient life forms on this forum. Myself included.
I wonder how intelligent these aliens really are, as they only seem to kidnap or show themselves to Cletus and his hillbilly chums, shortly before giving them a good probing...
Understandable view.I wonder how intelligent these aliens really are, as they only seem to kidnap or show themselves to Cletus and his hillbilly chums, shortly before giving them a good probing...
I’m interested...what did you see?
I saw one too in Cyprus about 8 years ago. Unfortunately mine wasn’t of the saucer/metallic variety.
It was around 1630 in the afternoon and we were driving back from the gym. Ahead in the distance was a very bright light, stood out from everything else. It just maintained this position in the Sky....we watched it for 10-15 secs and then it accelerated out of sight within a second or so.....0- god knows what speed in a second....disappeared in a long looping ark (kinda like when they hit warp drive in the Millennium falcon in the movies).
Now you’re just being ridiculous man!I heard there was a sighting of an Alfieri!
Just stay away from the light you will be fine. What about stuff like Out of Body Experiences? I had one (well, half of one) and it totally panicked me. I was scared to fall asleep for days after.....
Ahhhh, the afterlife.....interesting, what happened...did you die for a while? What about stuff like Out of Body Experiences? I had one (well, half of one) and it totally panicked me. I was scared to fall asleep for days after.....
Weird eh, gotta say I’m envious of those that claim to have seen the metallic variety. It was dark after midnight, and we where on high ground driving downhill towards Inbirchworth Reservoir from Penistone South Yorkshire, on C roads.
We both saw a very bright red light travelling at high speed below us.
At first we though it was the tail light of another car on the perimeter road of the reservoir we where about to join, but the light continued on at a bend on the road and we then realised there was no white driving light, too fast for any vehicle and it was travelling over the top of the reservoir not on the perimeter road.
As said similar sightings where reported soon after in the local paper on the same evening, and several decades later it was brought up again after reports where released by the government with police witnesses seeing the same on the same night in the same area around Penistone.

Have you got any funny marks on the back of your neck?Maybe I have too.
I was only about 4 or 5 years old and I was staying with my grand parents at their farm, which was quite remote. Woke up in the middle of the night and looked out of the bedroom window and in the distance saw what looked like a spaceship launch up into the sky with a bright light.
Being so young, did I see it, was it a dream, I don't know but it is a memory that has stuck with me!
Remember this was before all the Internet etc in the very early 70's so I wasn't exposed to such things.
