Well... I checked with my car to see if it wanted to be featured, on acount of being freshly washed and thoroughly waxed. What with its lovely shiny new exhaust I thought it would be thrilled to have the chance to be featured.

Apparently it's not a terrific idea after all. :beated:

Seems I shall be resorting to the habits of my youth for a while, browsing the cars in magazines whilst my own refuses to oblige.

Yes MJ that's the plan.

I have all the parts.

I viewed one on Friday and was not that sure I wanted another one....then I sat in it, any doubts disappeared instantly I am pleased to say.

I'm so tempted to do a conversion myself, especially as my rear will require some paint even if I don't.
I think the lights, chopped rear for housings, and boot lid could be had for around a grand with negotiation.

The problem is that a good used boomerang is £400. Ok you might get lucky and bag a pair for £700 but then you need a boot at £150, upper boomerangs used are £100 each plus both tramsformers £100, wiring and the rear quarters.

I collected my bits over a couple of years and spent £800 but I really had to wheel and deal to do it.

Get the light first then go from there.
