If I am painting it Alpine White, the exterior colour is less important than the interior.

TBH, I would go Grigio/red again, Donny has one but its half red/black inside and I would prefer full red. The mileage has just gone over my target too, but its a very clean car.

If you going to respray whatever you find anyway, it might be an idea to trawl the insurance right off yards for something that has been vandalised on the paintwork, you could pick something up quite reasonable..??

One is really nice but it's got 50k on it and I have decided its too high

Ok it's early £20's but put 10k miles on it over 3 years and it will be worth £17k, spend more and get one with 30k miles on it for say £26k put 10k miles on it over 3 years and it will still be worth the same.

I think I am just going to have to take my time and get the right car.

The other is a 3.2 GTV but I really want a GS.

I have to confess I became impatient and did a deal on the XKR I was telling you about, in the end the 510 bhp 5.0 V8 and the noise it made in the Southwick tunnel on the A27 won me over! The day after I signed the paperwork a Victory Blu MCV appears on Autotrader with my ideal interior colour - gutted.

Yeah, its always the way isnt it. I have given myself a stern talking to and am not going to rush buying a car, its a keeper so has to be right.

Just to reiterate, anyone offering and discussing cars should be done by PM, there have been incidents recently of traders scuppering deals between members. This is a members forum so lets all let the members benefit and not the traders making their crust.
