Not much about at the moment, if any of you are thinking about parting with your GS, drop me a PM.

Matt,
No you can't have your old one back! I must to have timed it right last year to find her! Worth the wait. Good luck it your search.
Cheers

Hey Robert, that one is a keeper and so is my next one.

How has the car been behaving?

Have you done any bodywork or upgrades?

Can you post up some pics?

Matt,
The car is running well. We are taking it from Melbourne to QLD for a nephews wedding . It will be a good run. It will be used for a wedding car.
I will take some photos and post for you. When I return I will get the stone chips resprayed and a small ding taken out. ( a hotel parking ding that cracked the paint. Tried the paintless repairers but left the cracked paint).
Cheers
Robert

Ok Robert, make sure you get the right paint. You need ONLY PPG mixed paints. You might have to get it shipped in but it will be worth it. If you get your local bodyshop to mix it with their own system the match will be terrible.

Here is some info from the bodyshop that painted the front bumper last:

Paint Grigio Alfieri - 226687
ICI 4 N V V B Waterbased / 200ml – leave out 1.5 grams of 9948
Coverage: Only 1 drop coat @ 45 degrees, using standard pressure of 2 bar.

Wheels Paint code from when all wheels were refurbished in 2011:
354e2

Just bumping this thread, still on the lookout for a descent GS LE.

I have seen a few but for one reason or another did not come off.

There are a couple on PHeads classifieds which look good. That DonnyMac one in Grigio Alfieri looks very tasty.

It would be great to hear wich reasons you have found, not to buy those cars, especially if it where mechanical issues!
Just to learn wich issues are pending with these cars, IF there are.

Not much on PH at the moment...Either ones that are priced low but have been for sale for an age or ones that are asking silly money.....

Me too!

It is becoming a bit frustrating. The only one on Pistonheads that "floats my boat" is this one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/maserati/gransport/2007-maserati-gransport-le-v8-cambiocorsa----best-in-the-country/1297743?utm_expid=73689293-28.GwaTIa0tTx6mQ1ehYJDijg.0&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pistonheads.com%2Fclassifieds%2Fused-cars%2Fmaserati%2Fgransport but I can't imagine how it is worth £35k? I found a thread on another forum which I am pretty sure is by the guy selling this and he claims to have bought it for his father back in 2011 for £33k with 11k miles on the clock!

I am becoming seriously tempted by a 59 plate blue XKR coupe at my local Jag dealer which is up for £33k. It's hard to ignore the 510bhp and the noise it makes! But I do love the Gransport looks and the special interior.

Fingers crossed....

You're right Lee....35k..Sill money and you don't have to pay that to get a great Gransport.

Just trying to find the right car to be honest, colour is key.

I am looking for an LE only, not tech cloth for me. Ideally it would be an 05 or early 06 car as the tax is low and I am not going to drive it much. Mileage, well the lower the better I suppose, anything up to 40k considered.

Colours, black with tan or red, silver or grigio with red, Blue with tan maybe, but if I had to sum up the ideal car it would be:

2005 GS LE, 30k miles, Silver with full red leather, Silver wheels and grills or the same car but black with tan.

The hunt goes on...
