Dean you must have a very understanding wife that's for sure.
I work hard, provide well for us as a family and sacfice a lot so earns me some slack I think.

Also most of my car buys/sales are very cost effective or neutral so my hobby doesn't cost so much. It all works out quite well for all really.

LOL, thanks. Luckily I don't have many neighbours but I'm sure they'll hear it from a distance....it's quite loud
You should start them all up at once , you'd have a geological survey team out looking for the source of the earthquake tremor.

Finally found something that will replace the XJL and Cayenne that will both be outgoing shortly.

Was originally looking at an Audi SQ7 but in the end decided I didn't want an SUV and they were too pricey for me to justify anyway.

Find a nice 5 year old E43 AMG Estate in Premium Plus trim that fitted the bill quite nicely. A kind of one car does it all pretty well car.

Not as showy as an E63 and a bit more of a sleeper. Still very quick, great chassis, handling, brakes, toys and comfort.

I'll report back over time in case others are looking in that vicinity. Seems all good so far.

Nice choice, enjoy.

Thought I'd add another to the old incoming thread rather than start a new thread.

Forgot to mention I managed to get back into a Maserati again. Was sad to see the old 4200 go but finances/mortgage dictated some decisions. Still hardly flush with cash but stumbled across a nice facelift a short while back and couldn't resist the temptation!

The seller kindly dropped it off to Matt to do an MOT and a few bits for me. Thanks Matt. Then got it low loader collected/delivered to me. Very nice well looked after car with only 40k miles, recent clutch so all good.

Well played, Dean! Is that DKR or something else?

C
Thanks. LOL....no not DKR as really really is not my cup of tea. It is Bordeaux leather.

I'm not normally a fan of any red interiors but I'm OK with this as not too red and the interior has black dash top and carpets with black lower door cards so breaks it up nicely.

Looks fab, and I'm with you on the red interiors!

Looks great. The facelift works so well on the 4200. Only minor tweaks, but a huge difference.
Maybe lower it just a bit?
Well done and fingers crossed you have a happy partnership!

Thanks Ewan. Yes, for me the facelift always looked a little better for those small tweaks. Yes, I had the previous 4200 lowered a smidge to GS specs. They always seemed to sit a little high for me.

Needs an x-pipe too as is a little muted stock as we know.

Looks like a purposeful beast. I agree, lower a little bit and it looks like a spaceship from a 90s Sci-Fi series

Well done, Dean, good work and a gorgeous spec. Bordeaux leather is very lovely.
