Are any of the previous PM been any better?
Getting boring now. Lying about it is not good, but media seem to say the rest of the UK were locked up and no-one had a meeting, gathering, celebration they weren't meant to? BS.

I'm sure you are right Gary; if I look at my bubble and bubbles at that time, I'm sure there was some flexibility with the rules exercised, some to allow childcare to happen for example, without which, some may not have kept jobs, other movements for the good of people's mental health and wellbeing. Notwithstanding I think we did a truly excellent job at avoiding CV-19, it only visited this household earlier this summer during the Euro Wendyball (and a party was prevented as a result of a proactive test), and currently where the relaxed rules allowed more contact at another families party where one of our lot attended. It turns out nobody else in that family has done a test beforehand!

Are you not meant to lead by example though?
Quite the contrary.
Infidelity and mental instability seem to be the new prerequisites for high office.
Liz Truss is rumoured to be 'taking soundings' from amongst Tory MPs
to gauge support for her candidacy, in the event Boris should 'fall under a bendy bus'.

Past a certain age (thank you Spoons for reminding us) it all becomes too familiar. Nothing ever changes, just different faces. Apart from the media which now is just about viewing numbers. Was quite shocked (but not surprised) to see the media channels doing polls like ‘Will you obey the new Covid rules when someone may have had a gathering last year?’. How does you’re average dimwit not interpret that as ‘Ignore the rules, do what you want’?
