Very nice indeed. Don't listen to the 3200 crowd. Their little bonnet vents just let water into the engine bay......

I think it's Nettuno, it said something like that in the advert from memory.

So it's Nettuno and ???? What colour is the leather? Tan? Cream? Beige?

As opposed to a 4200 which is confused with a Honda Accord from the back! as this is what most people see as it screams past with those larini's you can hear the overtaken driver gasp "F~~k me! that Honda was quick" by which time you have gone so he never becomes educated.
Lovely car BTW
If your handy with the spanners lots of minor niggles and even some major ones - like the brakes and discs can be done yourself, at the end of the day all cars are built by someone or something, so therefore the principle behind repairing them is the same, granted some of the electronics are a bit beyond most, just search the forum and someone is bound to have had a similar issue and traced it to a box of tricks that needs its terminals cleaned

So it's Blue Nettuno and the interior could be Pearl Beige, difficult to tell from pictures, similar to my past 4200 but it could be Beige..!!

The paint is the easy bit, the leather colour is something else and there were specials, but I think it looks like beige..!!

Looks like Cuoio leather to me ,Kw-owo to those that don't speak Italian. It's too dark for Avorio which is more like Ferrari's crema.

I do like a quick Honda. Very stealth. :)

Following on from here - http://www.sportsmaserati.com/showthread.php/14136-Prospective-new-Maserati-owner

I have now found the car I was after, in my favourite colour combination. I'd have taken some pictures of it in my ownership but it's got a covering of crud on it now that I don't want to show off so here's some pictures from the traders website.

Is that really mine?

I have to admit that after driving it into work today I had a bit of a wobble. I was thinking "Have I done the right thing?" Are my co-workers going to think I'm a div, wasted money? Is it too strange for me? I'm so used to Audis and that sterile Germanic style that I find so comfortable.

After a few hours of that and a couple of e-mails to some very insightful people I've come to my senses and looking out of my front window and seeing it on the drive, well, My legs are like snapped candles, what a sight!!
The drive home was better than the drive in too. I avoided the centre of Buckingham and used a nice long bypass, windows down and let it howl! It has a pair of Larini sports boxes fitted so does it ever howl!!

There are a couple of things I want to get done.
- One of the rear speakers crackles like **** but I've seen an upgrade thread so I'll be following that an getting the same or similar.
- I suspect it may have a Lambda probe issue, maybe. After a good hour into my journey back I could feel a very light hesitation, like someone was very lightly pulling on the rear bumper. That's a Lambda issue to me anyway.
- Get it booked in for another service (maybe) and check over at Emblem (came highly recommended) for more peace of mind.

More to come as I get to things, I'll update this as I get to them.

Thanks to all those that have helped and advised and given up their own time to tell me the right and wrongs, particularly Richard Grace, Roger and Zagatoes30 :excellent:

What a lovely looking 4200..Well done...Looks stunning.

Congratulations on getting such a beautiful car!
I've had mine a month and I just cannot believe how happy a car could make me. I find any excuse to drive her, and quite often don't bother with any excuse at all. My only frustration is that you can only get about 2 seconds of max acceleration before you hit a speed limit. I haven't really bothered with the radio yet as I drive with the windows down savouring the sounds most of the time. Thoroughly recommend the check over at Emblem - you will know exactly where you stand after a trip there...
Hope to meet up at some event or other.

Congratulations, it's a beautiful car. Fingers crossed on your haunch regarding the lambdas.
Enjoy driving her. It gets pretty addictive. I've put 8.5k on mine since March this year

I hadn't given a second thought to mileage. If I fancy driving it then I will. Is there really such a worry about higher mileage? What are you considering as 'high mileage'?
