Guess they must have only sold MC12's as the 'current' cars have more bhp than ever. More like they offered poor service and got booted.

On a side note after my post above, JCT600 called today asking about me coming in for the recall work. A bit of a coincidence maybe?

Strange how JCT have got your details and they haven't been sent over to us!
Think I need to have a word with the powers that be!

Hi,
I'll certainly give you a try. Just checked google maps and street view, did it used to be a Saab dealership at that site?

That's pretty typical Maserati leaving customers to waste their time with outdated information..!!

I took the bike for a spin this afternoon to visit a mate in East Lancs. En-route I called in to see Gary and the gang at Bowkers (Ribble Valley). I was really impressed; a coffee on arrival (to get some feeling back in my fingers), a very friendly and enthusiastic staff and some fantastic stock. The showroom is being renovated at the moment but it looks like it will be a great franchise for Maserati. The workshop looks very nice and they were working on an exceptionally clean fly yellow Dino. Seeing that I would strongly suggest your Maserati would be in very safe hands. However, don't just take my word for it, if you are in the area call in and have a chat, you are sure of a warm welcome. It was good meeting you Gary, I'll be seeing you again!

Yes, they've apparently got one or two coming next week and only 6 for the rest of the year. They won't have any trouble shifting them I wouldn't have thought.

There is not a lot of demand for £50k+ saloons in the UK any more.

Levante will do a lot better.

I don't think they'll have too much problem shifting those sorts of volumes! But, I would contend that there is enough demand for them to make it economically worthwhile!

I think we are both in agreement as the UK is not statistically significant to Maserati going foward.

Was good to see you today aswell, glad to see you got home safely, and avoided that speed camera just outside the dealership. It good to know what you are impressed with what we are trying to achieve, albeit in the middle of a building site at the moment.
Look forward to seeing you again...soon.
Will be arranging a few meets in the summer months and will keep you posted nearer the time.

From my understanding Maserati see huge potential in this sector of the market, and it is a growing sector.
Lets look at the options............BMW, Mercedes, Audi, all great and proven cars......but pull into any golf club, business meeting or even local car park and the german cars dominate the place. Maserati vision is for the person that wants something different.
And don't forget this is a sun £50k car and looks and sounds amazing.

Cars are due to arrive next month, subject to launch date announcements, and I can happily say that we have quite a few confirmed orders and the interest is amazing.

......based purely on numbers sold, maybe not...but from a PH nation, their instinctive knowledge and history of whats good, exciting and innovative in the motoring world is a sort of weather vane for other nations, groups, peoples.....
