Too late Dem, the 4200 has gone to a new owner in the south west I think, or I might have been tempted..!!

It's absolutely perfect aesthetically , IMO. I also like the glass panoramic roof. I definitely would like to own one one day.

I will before I peg it Elliot.....one of the must have for me. Never thought I would say that about a Jaguar.

Nor me Andy. Nor me. But this is a game changer. I'd followed a drop top for a few miles down to Le Mans earlier this year and that sound was to die for. But, I wasn't too impressed, looks wise. This coupe has completely changed my opinion.

The sound of the V6s is way better than the V8s imo.The setup of the exhaust system and the pop and bags on downchange and off throttle are simply sublime. In the last 5-6 years Jaguar have turned around their image and brand from a stuffy chintzy British company to a global leader in sports and luxury car market. If you think about every model since the XF they have really appealed to most. I've not heard anyone say a bad word about the F-Type and now this Coupe is announced it will only get better.

Having an "in" ive had chance to get in but not drive the coupe, its much better IMO than the softy. It does feel small inside though, hence the glass roof. Its not a 4200 / GT inside by any means.

But really well styled - the values will drop though, give it 12 months, they are knocking them out at full speed so as soon as there are 50 on PH they will drop again.

Jag = Depreciation even worse than Maseratis, they make too many which is good for the brand and anyone who wants to buy them 2nd hand - 5 years they will be a steal

Depreciation is a killer for most car owners, no matter what you buy you can write off 50% easy in 5 years, my 4200 lost around £4.5K a year on average, so do many other prestige marques..!!

I do like the convertable but very colour sensitive....A black one went past me on the motorway and didn't move me but that red looks lovely......the coupe though could be covered in poo and look a million dollars.

Agree...but to be honest if I worried about depreciation I wouldn't have had half the cars I've owned.....I do get your point though.
