Just phoned my local dealer and put my name down for a test drive. Unfortunately, they estimate that they won't get hold of a car until February at the earliest. :(

I see the first Jags to hit the dealers as my neighbour is the principle salesman at Grange in Swindon.

It's frustrating when you see a car you like, but then can't drive it. Same with the Ghibli - launched with great fanfare in the summer, and yet we're still waiting for the demo car(s) to hit the dealerships. Hardly the way to pull in a new demographic of buyer.

Quite common now. Cars are launched but it takes six months to drive one then another 3-6 months to get one.

Jaguar and their dealership network obviously do not realise how important I think I am!

I like it, the V6 also is there almost!!

The 911 turbo does not sound as good as the carrera, i think the V6 Jag is the same

Stunning car to look at, suddenly makes the Vantage look very old fashioned and a bit dull. And the exhaust note is just spot on. I used to have a Vantage with a Quicksilver Supersport exhaust which sounded epic, but assuming that video soundtrack is not doctored, that beats it hands down.

I also couldn't believe how great it sounds...That V8 sounds a real gem...but then at over 80k you would want it to be.....Best sounding engine I've heard on a new car for ages....Not since the GT'S noise to be honest.

I almost bought the convertible F-Type to replace my GTS but thought it a tad expensive. I decided on the Cayman which is great, but I couldn't resist the coupe so I've put a deposit down on one today.The first cars are expected in the first quarter of 2014, no idea when I'll get one.
