Share the thoughts on mercs too, the C class I had was possibly one of worst cars I've had.
That said I'm seriously considering a Viano as a MPV, the 3.5 V6 petrol obviously, but then what's the alternative? A previa?
M cars rule supreme so far as I'm concerned, 2 M3's and a Z4M coupe have confirmed this.

There you go Adam...Dan in another C class hater.....Thats 2 of us...There must be something in it now...Sure Dem will join this group as well.

I am not saying i prefer Audi RS models to BMW M cars, no, always been an M car fan, I am finall starting to like the new M3 after seeing a few on the roads, it does have something about it. However i hate the 3 series saloon, it is so dreary and in sport form it is no better that is where i would probably have the Audi A4 S line or Merc C with the AMG sports pack, and the new 5 maybe the best in it's class but it is terrible to look at so i would have a Jag XF or a used QP. Although i have always liked this M car even though it did not receive high praise, looks great with the CSL wheels.

Hmm, beg to differ I'm afraid. 3 series saloon is a far more involvng drive than an A4, more responsive steering, better handling and better balance with RWD power. Appearance is subjective and for rep mobiles, which is what they basically are, how it feels from the driver's seat counts for an awful lot more than looks.

So far I've owned 8 BMWs and test driven plenty of Audis but have just never been suitably impressed.

i would rather something that drives pretty good but looks good too like the A4 S line, the 3 series drives well but looks boring, my dad has owned 10 BMW's in the past and is never buying another because of the way they loo, last decent BMW we had was an X5 and before that, an E46 330 CI convertible.

Agree.......to a degree.....was more focusing on the Merc/BMW brigade!!

P

you failed to notice the word german in the question ?

nane a german car manufacturer that is responsible for more deaths than any other german car manufacturer.

Frank, you may take a little longer to answer as you may need to read the question a few time to ensure you include all the words.

Rob....thanks for the heads up....doh!

Have read it twice.......................

Is it a conundrum....................

Are we talking about the panzer making division of Mercedes.......or the Messherschmidt making arm of BMW?

;)

Yes Dem, with you....All RS versions have it in buckets....and don't just mean seats.
