However much I love the look of the GTS, I seem to love the shape and look of the 3200/4200/GS more. There is something more "right" about it's proportions from pretty much all angles. And although, as some have said, it is starting to look dated, for me it's dating really well. It's a classic shape that will stand the test of time, like the beautiful shapes of the classic Maseratis and Ferraris from the 60s

total agree quite a few people have said to me that's a classic style and and for me such a joy to drive.

This is a finish that just can't be achieved with a silver car, and the only reason I would ever have for wanting something other than Doris.

Great car, Enzo.

Lots of gorgeous metal here, but Enzo, your GS is stunning

thank you, it needed a lot of work to get it to that stage, dosen't currently look this shiny as I have some nano products I am testing. wax will get this reflection on any black car if the prep work is done.

Enzo, is that photshopped? Look so shiny!!
I always love black and thats just the dogs.....

not at all, just lots...lots of time - about 20+ hours machine polishing with about 3-4 layers of wax and this was the end results using a semi-pro camera.

I think its time to strip the nano products and put the wax back on with this sort of feedback :) only difference is the Nano stuff I am testing, the water just falls off - sadly can not do both that I have found

Enzo that's bloody lovely

Thank you

A very good thing in my eyes..........

is that the car of Jodie :)

thanks all - its great to have this sort of feedback for the car that the Forum thinks is one of the worst out there - so I am happy :)

is that a Stag in the garage lovely car - my god father took me out in his rolls (which I wasn't into cars then) but when I saw a Stag over taking us that was the moment it all started off for me - the sound as it seem to fly pass

Yes it is, my first car I bought back in '86, and carried out a bare shell restoration in the early 90's. My fresh air fix car, and of course V8 too.

I rather think it is and with matching plates by the look of it.

Yes N77JLA on the Maser, and the original JLA77N on the Stag. Was only £250 all in from the DVLA 10 years ago.

I do think that the black grill on the GS style bumper looks far better than the 'bling' chrome ones...and set of the trident sooooo well

Hi Enzo

What polishes and waxes do you use? I machine polished mine last year with a my Meguiars G220, and as you say it takes many hours of hard work, but definitely worth while ;-)

The finish looks superb on yours! Have you managed to keep the paintwork swirl free?
