My train has just left Stratford. I could have popped in and got him to call you if I'd known!

You'd have had a long walk. He's in Shepherds Bush.

Danny - Mine might be on the market soon, most likely through Nareman. It's a fantastic car and wants for precious little. 2009 GTS MC Shift, Grigio Alfieri, Alcantara everywhere the factory offered it, piano black trim, comfort pack, front/rear sensors, Bose, nero leather / Alcantara interior, grigio stitching, 25% clutch wear, new(ish) floor mats, brand new MOT, freshly serviced, timing cover gaskets and cam cover gaskets replaced 2 years ago, 48k miles, dithering on price but that's for Nareman to sort out. It looks like this:

It's possible I'll bottle it and keep the car but not if I get a decent offer. Trouble is, they're such good cars!

Mr Crud, that will be a sad day if you decide to sell - that will be a tough one to replace, what will be filling those mighty boots?

It would have to involve a horse. Perhaps a Mitsubishi Colt.

Failing that, a Cali. Despite the shrill howls of anguish that it's not a proper Fezza (whatever the h3ll one of them is!) and is a bit soft I really like them. I also think the N/A model prices will continue to get pushed south by the T. In fact the most expensive N/A Cali is the same price as the cheapest turbo. And if you stick a proper exhaust on it you can make them sound like an old school F1 car, so my inner hooligan won't miss the x-pipe and the very special TCU software which my GTS has.

Will do, Danny. Will send some over this evening if that's ok. I need to wrap up some work and then apparently my youngest needs a lift somewhere. And back.

PS - it also has four new tyres. The rears have clocked up 20 miles and the fronts exactly zero. the next two weeks will put a thousand or so on them, so they'll be run in at least. As will the brand new rear pads.

Fair enough my friend, good luck

Gorgeous looking GTs Adam- hard to replace - but a Cali will do it. Utter garbage it's not a real Ferrari IMO- 3.7 0-60 and compact and sporty. Too scared to push it remotely hard but had so many smiles so far. The convertible aspect adds a new level. I miss the ASBO sound of the GTs as you accelerate up to.. 20 mph! Cali too quiet for my liking below 4,000 revs but then Sounds fantastic. I need to find out from someone how to keep the valves open all the time. And how not to invalidate the warranty with exhaust mods- which seems impossible..

Do you think Phil?
But a whole setup will cost ++++. They said it would affect warranty too which I find silly if it's fitted at appropriate place and no remapping. I do miss the mental pops and crackles of the GTs.

I'd opt for Tubi. They are built in Modena with Ferrari in mind. The Tubi system on my 360 was epic. And you'll probably not need the full system - just the back.

That's the tip I need Ewan- just one or two components I could stretch to without being decapitated by my wife.
What's the best component for the money / sound improvement?

Mine told me to buy a GTS. I didn't need telling twice! And bought one within a week just in case she changed her mind!
