Simple one (maybe)

It's been all over the news that Charlie Brown / Peanuts is 50 years old (actually well over). What's the oldest comic strip still running? (Setter's decision is final)

In cartooning terms Punch is fairly ancient but I don't know about a long running comic strip...

OK clearly not piquing the interest here. It's called Captain and the kids, although started as The Katzenjammer Kids and was first run 12 December 1897

Stuart, you were closest. A puppy related q? ;)

That's the one, I vaguely recall that now.

Ok, so what is unusual about the anatomy of the Pyrenean Mountain Dog and the Beauceron breeds of dog?

Shorter legs on one side so they can go around the sides of the mountains? Down side is if they turn around they fall off!

Seriously though is it something to do with the knees being able to flex more?

Shoulders able to move out sideways perhaps?

I'm reminded of my previous dog; Used to refer to him as a 'Pitsea Mountain Dog' (very Essex joke) he was a miniature Yorkie, never heavier than 4lb flat!

It's not the shoulders, you're going the wrong way from the knees - you need to aim closer to the ground!
