OK, well back to the Beach Boys (Good Vibrations) then, with a super easy Sunday morning Q:

What do the following groups all have in common:
- The Beach Boys
- The Rolling Stones
- Queen
- AC/DC
- Roxy Music

How about band members having the same surname? the crass answer would be that they've all 'done' Jerry Hall....what she sees in the Billionaire Octagenarian Murdoch I'll never know...

Two answers so far have almost contained the actual answer. :)

All the bands qualify for this common thing; indeed Roxy Music qualifies twice (you are allowed to look them up!).

In which case, dare I suggest it, the QM hasn't defined the question accurately

Quite right. Sorry. Let me have another go:

What do the following groups all have in common:
- The Beach Boys
- The Rolling Stones
- Queen
- AC/DC
- Roxy Music
...which they do not have in common with, for example,
- Blue Öyster Cult
- Fleetwood Mac
- Lynyrd Skynyrd
- The Who
- The Proclaimers
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Steely Dan
- Pink Floyd
- Led Zeppelin

Sort of got me stumped on this one, initially I though brothers both Beach Boys & AC DC have brothers but not Roxy Music or Rolling Stones. Glastonbury was also in my mind but don't think AC DC have played there. All the bands have had break-ups of one sort or another followed by comebacks of which Roxy Music have had two so it could be that but I don't think the Rolling Stones actually ever broke up officially just sort of stopped working together for a while.

So currently grasping at straws
