Quite right. Sorry. Let me have another go:

What do the following groups all have in common:
- The Beach Boys
- The Rolling Stones
- Queen
- AC/DC
- Roxy Music
...which they do not have in common with, for example,
- Blue Öyster Cult
- Fleetwood Mac
- Lynyrd Skynyrd
- The Who
- The Proclaimers
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Steely Dan
- Pink Floyd
- Led Zeppelin

Fair point :lol2:

Amazing!!!!

It is more about the current and past members of the band than about the band itself, the music, performances, etc. And, as I said, Roxy Music gets double points.

Is it something like they went through a period where they had not original band members, and then got one or more back as it were?

No double or quits necessary - as I had a side bet, to go alongside the original 10 pence, that the "someone" would be you :D

*Excellent*

Pretty much my entire professional career has been built on being able to make decisions with a minimum of data, but making bloody sure if that decision needs to be made again we have as much info as possible :D

The commonality involves:

- The Beach Boys: a current member
- The Rolling Stones: a past member (dead)
- Queen: a current member (there are only two active, now)
- AC/DC: a past member
- Roxy Music: two past members (1973 and 1983 - they are all past members now)

'Brian (or Bryan)' it is then, I thought I'd jump in on that one, I could sense the frustration.

In line with that answer;
Who financed the Monty Python film 'The Life of Brian'?

Yes, I'm surprised how difficult it was.

- The Beach Boys - Brian Wilson
- The Rolling Stones - Brian Jones
- Queen - Brian May
- AC/DC - Brian Johnson
- Roxy Music – Brian Eno (and Bryan Ferry)

Nope, George was what I was after.
I thought it might be a bit too easy that one. I promise to give the next one a bit more thought :)

If anyone would like to step in with a new question it would be appreciated.
Signal problems (one of the joys of living in this neck of the woods) have exhausted my patience today.
Thanks
