I've got the horn for a discovery 4 big time, I keep looking at other SUVs but the disco 4 ticks all the boxes (not the wallet emptying box obviously)

So being sensible I'm going to let the yaris go and buy a 730d m sport I've seen , that's until I've saved enough cash to buy a well looked after disco 4 , hopefully the bmw won't empty my bank account faster than I can fill it.

from a pocket rocket to a barge, have you lost your mind
It's a nippy barge though

Big saloons have always been my thing , I do like the GR Yaris but both my kids are 6ft , we were all in it last week for my daughters graduation , I had to turn the radio up to drown out the moaning.

However if I sell it and toyota announce they're building no more of them I'll be gutted, it's booked in for the next motorway auction, probably the weekend , if it makes the reserve it'll be gone in about a week

which could be the case with these type of specials, although I do get where you're coming from, would be interesting to see how much it achieves on motorway, out of interest why motorway, have heard their commercials

I'm not comfortable selling a car of this value privately , motorway online auction cars to the trade , they set a reserve then you get offered the highest bid. Usually they offer more than wbac

Recently took my old e39 to wbac. Started off at £1000 , got there , he looked around, then said computer says £54 . After i began laughing he said £220, i asked why not 1000 like quoted, he said had scratches minor to most panel and alloys not perfect so poor condition. Obviously i declined.

There's a sweet spot for value with WBAC , anything they can't auction gets below scrap money so they can say they've made an offer.

I've sold a van and a car to WBAC

Starting it to see all the lights went out was the limit of their mechanical checks , they're more concerned with things buyers can see as it's crawling round the auction heading for the stand than they are about mechanical problems.

Have you tried our very own QP - some might claim a nippy barge and then some ;)

If I go for the bmw it'll likely only be a stop gap while I save more money for a D4

QPs are next to impossible to move on unless it's cheap , immaculate and had £££ spent on it a week before it goes up for sale

As beautiful as they are 6k doesn't buy a good one , it buys a money pit

Yaris sold pending pickup

Just got to decide what to buy now , a suv is on the cards because it'd mean I could sell the van too

There are 100s of discovery 4s for sale so it's definitely a buyers marketv

Maybe private, dealers don't seem willing to budge much yet, probably bought in at the high end.
