Just want to take the opportunity to high-five Stuart (Sprog64) for sorting me out which an excellent set of stainless bolts.

I've been itching to get my spacers back on the car, but haven't got around to it because the extended bolts I got from Hill Engineering have started to de-chrome. Finally decided to bite the bullet and contacted Stuart over the Easter break and sent him a pattern bolt to take measurements from and he was on it straight after the Easter weekend with the new bolts on their way to me a couple of days later.

Each one arrived individually double bagged and each was spotless. Stuart also chucked in a couple of spares as they're non-standard. Well chuffed. :D

Nice bolts ....
My car also wears Sprogs bolts and I can also thoroughly recommend them for fit and appearance.

Sorry, Miles? You couldn't resist Martin? That's a bit of a personal confession of a sudden, isn't it?

Hi Mike, 15mm all round.
Miles, is there any benefit to these or is it purely aesthetics? Where are your spacers from and are they hub centric? I think the GS wheels would look better if they filled the arches a little better.

Hi Maf, they're largely aesthetic, however they do improve the handling, especially if you go wider at the rear as it reduces understeer. Go all round and it just improves the general 'feel'. Slightly surer steering, but TBH it's minimal. I got them from Hill Engineering and yes hub centric.

Thanks Miles. It would be great to see a before & after picture with the spacers fitted - do you have any? The spacers look very reasonable from Hill Engineering, especially given the price includes the longer bolts.

Hi Maf, I'll be fitting them at the weekend so will take before and after photo's.

Yes the spacers and bolts from Hill are top notch. My only frustration was with them de-chroming, but all chrome bolts will do this after a couple of years or so.
