Morning all. Bummer of a day, Pete. Hope you feel better today. Had a call last week from one of my credit card providers saying my card had been compromised and they were cancelling and replacing it. Checked the account, no sign of any spurious activity. Bizarre. Still, at least they seem to be on the ball.

Good luck to your Dad, C. And glad the Alfa had a good blast.

Need to cut the lawn today, return a really **** garden umbrella to the shop and go and find a decent one from somewhere else.

Garden for me in a minute as well Adam....Both cars washed so now for some bush trimming and grass cutting....I don't know about you but I do like a well maintained bush.

I run a pre paid international credit card that means wherever I am I ask for things to be taken in local currency and never pay charges which works brilliantly. Middle of last month I changed our media package for Internet etc. and later that day I got asked to complete a survey with a complementary gift at the end. All seemed genuine and to be from the service provider. Did the survey and ticked the free gift of my choice (a small extra pressie for Jeanette I thought), I was asked to pay postage only so I used the pre paid £6 and it duely arrived before we went on holiday. I checked all the transactions yesterday from the holiday for any fraud and found £199 taken by the same people as the parcel postage! I have been scammed with a 14 day sign up period that was not shown anywhere on the site, worse it there is a 'refil service every 30 days indefinitely... Err I don't think so! Have cancelled the card and will Perdue them but there is sod all I can see to get the £199 back as I'm sure they would argue I ticked the terms and conditions somewhere.

So I head a tracker virus or malware on the machine that triggered the scam. I was taken in (first time in about 10 years) and have bought a very expensive pot of lard!

Have fun all...

Morning all by the way, just finished upgrading our phones and checking that everything is restored properly. Bit of a bugger with Internet this weekend, so many people in the village I think the pipe might be full.

Morning all. Err afternoon. Feeling somewhat jaded after last nights ball.

Peeing down with rain so no chance of sleeping it off in the garden. In front of the TV eating rubbish is ahead!

Aygo brakes done; replaced rear cylinders & reset auto handbrake adjusters, we will see if that sorts it out in the next couple of weeks. No oil in it again, I have no idea where it goes, never seen any smoke or rough running, no leaks anywhere, just 83,000 miles on a city car!
