So Mike.... It's an ADR Sports 1000. There are some pictures further back in the thread... Good job I couldn't get an entry into Harewood this weekend, as I'd have been running the car there at full chat up the hill when it let go, I guess, and it's not famed for large run-off for most of the track.

A true track weapon!
Some interesting machinery at Harewood Hill Climb today, and only a few off's with only pride damaged.
Its a great spectator event, you can see most of the track from the hill side.
I do like Blyton Park, nice circuit.

Sorry to hear your woes Drew, not much fun when tech lets you down...

Mark, I've never used Elite before and as I said they didn't inspire me when I checked it in but I was very happy in the end. I can see me going back as and when I change the wishbones which is inevitable I fear in the long run.

They used to do a thing where the manager/owner used to put his mobile number on your invoice, so if there was anything you weren't happy with you could speak to the organ grinder not the monkey. Dunno if they still do that.
Inspired confidence.
To be honest from the service I got, I doubt he had many calls.

This was at Elite Tyres on the old A13 at Rainham RM13 8DE, I was apprehensive as you simply book it with the desk and the guy booking it in did not instil any faith being nonplussed by my saying I'd fitted new tie rods on the rear! I watched the keys move along the trays and spoke to the 'driver' who ramped it and he was spot on and introduced me to the young lad actually doing the job. He was very knowledgeable and discussed all the options, asked me to wait by the door until he had it all set up then raised the ramp and we went through the whole car front to back checking and discussing the settings and checking the wishbones yet again!

You are correct that £59 did not include adjusting camber or caster but the latter was spot on and the camber was at the top end of the range, based upon this we agreed to set a neutral toe on the front to compensate and leave it aggressive road/track when done. There are four screens of data he produces and a lovely print out of the finished job for my records :) They can do caster and camber if you want (and provide the shims).

I left feeling an excellent job was done and she handles just right now :D and now has the bark to match!!!

That is very tempting. Rather closer the Zep's place, and with Geoff Capes recommending as well.

My handling is 'interesting' at the minute. Don't know what I'll do at Brunty other than be even slower than normal!

Those boxes do sound good innit? :D

Yep - we used to run an OMS in the Harewood Championship. It's an excellent place to watch the racing, being a natural grandstand, but devoid of any edible/digestible food :D

Chris - find the time to have your car set up before Brunty if you can. Handling is night and day after its been properly set up and you'll enjoy yourself far more.

Wow Mark, 6 months is quite a break, good luck.

Can't help with the white board Andy sorry.

Today involves reports first, South Norwood, Vauxhall, Slough, Newton Abbot to Exeter so I can do the prison in the morning and then home via Southampton!

Have fun all...

Morning all. Nose back to the grindstone today.

Off to Mavericks gite on Saturday, via the tunnel, hum.

Can you believe it my mother told me to get a baseball bat for the boot incase there is any trouble!

People, especially my mother, do easily overreact to situations these days!

Had no idea you were facing this problem, until i saw the shots from Calais. There are hundreds coming to greece via the Maditeranean every day. Some are killed in the water, some other survive.

Morning all. A bit of hangover, but all is fine. Have a nice one.

Morning all, the builders are back in today for hopefully the final day of the damp course treatment. I'll be glad for it to be over, a filthy job, but one that had to be done.
Have a good day & week everyone

Morning all.

Matt, your Mum sounds like quite a gal! Nonetheless, I confess some relief that the Crud family holiday is via Portsmouth.

MAF, good luck back at work. I hope the other boys are nice to you. Have you remembered your packed lunch? Have a good day, mate.

Newton - a quiet couple of days, then. Have you thought about hiring someone?

Stuart - good luck to you, too.

Working at home today. Likely off to The Netherlands on Wed & Thu so my week of getting stuff done has just lost two days. Still, it's for a new customer so well worth it.

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning all. Another busy week ahead.

Hopefully I get an indication this week of when I'll be in a position to finally get a Maser on the driveway.
Part one of the two part plan being in place.

Have a good one all.
