Especially a 9"
In some parts of the world they are banned!

I would say a large proportion of accidents that occur at our work across the group involve an angle grinder, and mostly a 9 incher.
A plasma cutter is a better solution where possible, and are being used more and more instead of large angle grinders.

Well 5 of the 7 meters are now reinforced, I arrived on site this morning to find the machine I was doing first had been attacked last night, they had got the pilot through and had bored about 1/3rd through and it looks like they got disturbed or blunted the borer as they had pushed mud in the holes to try and hide it!

Bit buried now!

So I will only be able to do one tomorrow as I'm out in the afternoon and evening as we have been invited onto a friends boat! Anyway there are over 40 other meters in the parks of this one authority. If they want the rest doing I will invest in a plasma cutter for sure...

Bloody **** Newton - you always make me feel knackered,
however today I've redeemed myself with a 16 mile walk across the North Yorks Moors and escarpment, the guys and girls I took were amazed with the views etc and all I could hear all the time is,
I've never been here, seen that so hopefully they will visit the local area a bit more and spend some time and cash on their doorstep.....
I have to say, I bloody love where I live....

Just waking up down here.
Same as you Dave Lovely where I live.
In bed looking across the fields can see the Tasman sea and Mount Taranaki from the deck.
Life is Good.

I would say February is good Dave.
Depends what you want to see and do.
Take more than a couple of weeks though :)

With the travel taking 24 hours each way and jet lag 3 weeks minimum to enjoy.
We drove top to bottom in our Mini Cooper over 3 weeks but so many places we wanted to stay longer.
South Island blew me away.
Come and Enjoy.

Give me a shout and this will amuse some but I'm living in the City of Culture here and my old bangers fit in well.

Morning everyone!
Well my first Fringe experience was great fun last night even if we did all go home early.
Church this morning and then we'll see where we end up.
HapPea Sunday!

A stomp in the Pentlands
Just a wee circular walk to get moving and blow away some cobwebs. Lovely views over the city. I can see any you like it.

Morning,

Final packing for the trip today. Will have to take the Alfa Spider out for a little spin though as the sun is out.

Shame about the traffic Andy. Was it just the weight of traffic? Dropping in at Caen this time so detouring around via Le Mans to hopefully avoid the heavy traffic.

Have a great day everyone

Welcome back to reality Andy.

Looking forward to the end of this week as my own holidays start...far quieter (and cheaper) once the schools re open, but of course less certainty on warm weather.

Just need to decided where to go.

Oh and good morning all; another sunny day in store.

Morning all, aching from head to toe, legs eaten alive so I'm not going to site today, have to admit I need the break! So I'll clean and wax the GS this morning before heading off to our friends boat for a BBQ out on the Lea navigation.

Have fun all...

Morning forum. Just taken my new running shoes out for a few miles. World of difference ;)

Taking the GT to Luton later to take mother Catman out for lunch. THe food should be pleasant enough.....

....then to finish the crab apple jelly I started yesterday.

Have a great day, everyone

Good morning everyone, at Silverstone for the MotoGP. Think I'm going to be burnt alive, it's only 10:15 and it's schorcio already....Cal Crutchlow is the great British hope and he's on the front row of the grid and looking good. Just needs to beat Rossi in his 300th grand prix...

Morning all, nice to be back on the right time zone.

Moto GP in the village and F1 Spa on the box should keep me busy today :)
