My sincere condolences Andy. I lost my Mum last November so I can empathise with you in what you are going through. Stay strong mate, time WILL ease the pain.

Morning you lot!
It's rather pleasant in Montmartre. Last night I found a restaurant on one of the side streets where the menu was limited to mostly dishes of the day and no English menus are available. I figured that would give me good, honest French food not targeted at tourists, and I was correct. Then I walked it off climbing to the Sacré Cœur.
Another meeting this afternoon and then back home.
HapPea Friday!

Welcome to Friday, Forum!

Kind of a day off today, but Mrs Crud's Fiat 500 has a recurring CEL (an Italian car with a CEL and tendency to go into limp mode??) so is in the garage for a kick, which leaves me in the coffee shop having a, er, coffee and doing a few annual reviews. Oh, and mooching round SM. And AutoTrader.

Morning all. More of the same today.
To be honest I'm actually looking forward to the weekend, as even with a 3 month old, it'll be more of a rest than work is at the mo!

Enjoy that, Athol. Dubai is fun but weird. I still can't quite get my head round the place. What I like about Abu Dhabi is the opportunity to stay in a hotel overlooking Ferrari World and the Yaz Circuit, which is nice (and quite cheap when there's no racing on). I once went for a burger at Johnnie Rockets on the track and Audi happened to be testing it's new LMP1 car. With no other noise it sounded exactly like a fighter going overhead low and fast. By the way, good luck with the annoying funding stuff, too.

Oh, and mooching round SM. And AutoTrader.

Don't most blokes tend to do that anyway?

Me personally I'm trying to justify the man maths of a QP work horse. Sadly it will be a diesel, but still. It's a QP.

Such as this. For sub 30k, what's not to like?

Oh, and something for you Adam.

You know it makes sense! ;)

Those QP VI prices have dropped like a stone! That's an anazing amount of car for the money. They are big though, I think. You berth them, rather than park them.

Thank's for the Vanquish. "Luckily" it has the old 'box and is slower than the one I'd ideally have. I see a V12 Vantage S in my future. They have a broad spread on price, but I think with patience and some good negotiating one would make a perfectly sensible, financially prudent, environmentally sensitive investment.

Morning, yes, me too. If you need someone to carry your bags, just shout!

I have been somewhat busy this week working out that I am never going to attempt to fix a sick Diesel ever again!

Thanks Adam. Actually, I am meeting one of my clients in Abu Dhabi and they own Yas Island and everything on it! They've just opened the Louvre there which confuses me as I don't understand fully how you can think that culture and history is something you can simply build with a large enough chequebook. Hopefully, I will win a piece of work at their new Warner Bros World destination which open in June. It will be cool to be paid to be there for a few weeks and top up my Glasgow tan.
