Google passed the site as safe in mid December and there are no more security issues, as it states below, it can take a while for the warning to be removed:

Episode 10 comes with a cracking review of the Giulia QV. Can't wait to drive one of these!

Does look the biz, but needs to be a coupe!

Agree we need that option. Coupes always do better financially than saloons. In fact I struggle to work out how saloons fit into modern buying patterns. Most people with a lot of money will buy an SUV for the week and a coupe or convertible for the weekend.

This

When it happens I can see myself didtching Maserati and going back to Alfa if Maserati don't get their act together.

i am sure that a lot of us are thinking this. The whole issue of the engine in the top end Alfa shows how Maserati is drifting. 410PS in the Ghibl/QP and 430PS in the Levante is off the pace these days.

For sure, if I was looking new it would be Alfa.........I am still worried that Maserati are on a downward spiral similar to the late 80s/most of the 90s :(

What the last time they dropped the V8 for turbo charged V6 main stream mass produced saloon?

What could possibly go wrong?

Except the new QP GTS has a V8 with 530ps. So maybe it's not all bad news. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good moan though ;)

We have at the moment but I have heard it's going to be dropped due to emission constraints.

At least a good old V8 is an honest polluter. It doesn't make out to be all goody two shoes like many modern weasels but actually is worse than it is in the real world. You see what you get and get what you see in a V8. V8's forever!!!

They'll have to lock me up before I stop driving a V8.

I've only got 5 of them so maybe I should buy a few more to keep a good stock for the future

Europe isn't like the US where V8s are everywhere , due to the price of fuel in the UK a daily V8 is a very rare thing indeed so they should be left alone

Anyone buying a post 2006 car is already paying £550 a year in tax plus a lot of fuel duty every time they drive it

A much bigger worry to me is the fact that the early dpf equipped diesels are hitting the bottom of the market, so what's going to happen when the dpf fails and it's 2 weeks wages to replace it

It's going in the bin is what'll happen , something the government didn't consider when they bought in free or £30 pa road tax, but it's us with V8s that are the problem , yeah right

If/when the DPF fails on mine I'll just rip the f*cker off and gain some extra horsepower. If yet another Brummie ends up as a dribbling 16 year old, it's his problem not mine. I'm launching a rebellion against the nanny state; accept V8s (and big diesels) are the way forward or f*ck off. Thank you.

He's right though. Nothing like driving along watching the squirrels and small birds drop from the trees as you go past! ;)
