This is his reply......

The set discount is 10% which works out £270 for a set of twenty. From this point onwards I could consider £250 but this would depend on the numbers. These are hight quality polished bolts which are heat treated with higher tensile strength than the original mild steel ones

cheers

Need to follow up....or thoughts?

Frank, speak to the guy, get a price based upon 5 sets/100 bolts and tell him we will advertise them on the forum if he does them for £200 a set.

guys, its me that is selling the wheelbolts on ebay. I had one set made and they are trully a thing of beauty!! Had a chat with my supplier and the best he can do is £230 for a set on 20 bolts. I know it sounds a lot but compared to the original or re chromed ones, they are miles apart. Let me know if anyone is intrested

cheers

Nice one Bill, that should be a good upgrade for our cars. Rechroming can be done for about £100 and they last about 2 or maybe 3 winters at a push.

Guys I have been contacted by the engineering firm who did Bills Wheel bolts, and is able to offer them at £170 per set.

Also he has offered an engraving service if you want them customised or have the Maserati emblem on them.

He is based near Swindon and am just tying up the final price and postage costs. I going to try and get him down even further.

Can I have interested parties names please:

I have talked to Bill first, but the guy did contact us direct, it was not a case of me going looking to out doo Bill. This deal is for SM members only, so its does not affect Bills ebay sales.

Guys
I can confirm is the same guy. He charged me £230 for a complete set of bolts. After I introduced him to this problem, he desides to not only sell them for £150 to everyone else but to do it behing my back because "we didnt sign a contract"! I thought gentlemens agreement still meant something!! YES, I am not happy. Ofcourse you can do business with whoever you want, but I think you need to know who you are dealing with.

Fair enough if he's ok with that.
