I think its the wheels that are different, since the AC and 4200 have the same wheels they use the same bolts. In Bills original ebay ad he said he could do both types of bolt?

Hi Matt, please put me down for a set. I'm happy to pay for additional shipping charges to the Netherlands. I think I will be able to find some other guys interested over here as well (3 to 5 sets), but I'll let you know next week, ok?

One very important thing pointed out to me today. Have they been tested, I very much doubt it. Fully tested ones are available at £200 a set, I'll post details up next week. Having been told this, I wouldn't put untested components on a 180mph supercar for the sake of saving £50. If they have been rigourously tested then fine.

Fair point and I did ask him exactly the same thing and he replied at length and he does work for the motorsport industry. He says they are stronger than the original bolts and that the originals are rubbish quality.

I got a set of Sprogs SS wheel bolts for mine and they are fantastic. I can heartily recommend them. P.s I've only done 168 with them on but, as far as I am aware, the wheels didn't fall off.

Snap! Driven round Llandow, the Pyrenees and the alps with everything still attached. Now have a longer set to cope with my spacers.

Highly recommend sprogs ss bolts, had them for over two years now and still look good.

Thankyou for flagging Sprogs up, received my SS wheel bolts today, excellent product and descent value at £170.00 odd including postage. Stuart is a good guy to deal with.

They are top quality and well worth the cost, certainly finish the wheels off nicely

Hello everyone, didn't there used to be a set of wheel bolts doing the rounds on the old maserati forum? My recollection is that you paid about £80 for the set which were then sent to you on the understanding that you then returned your old knackered ones back to be rechromed in anticipation of the next person requesting a rechromed set. Does anyone know whether this service is still running?

Youve just jogged my memory on this. I donated a set of 3200 bolts a few years ago and they were doing the rounds. I cannot remember who last had them, though. Anyone on here want to own up??
