Ouch. Think my clutch has just gone.

Sitting at the traffic lights. Car pops out of gear. Won't engage any gear forwards or reverse.
So I call the RAC and then push it 50 yards to a bus stop.

3 grand bill coming my way? :(

F1 pump still working when you open door / unlock car?

This is exactly what happened to mine when pump / pump motor died, no pressure so fails safe by selecting neutral.

Yep check the priming of the pump, if it primes your clutch has gone, most likely tang failure.

Relay or pump then, mine had bad connections at the motor and I could get it to run if waggled.

Very hard to reach roadside so not much help.

At least worse case is an Alfa pump for £220 and a mornings fun!

Fingers crossed it's that then.

Doesnt sound like clutch, as the others have said the pump or relay or fuse. Try a battery reset.

When the clutch tangs go, it attempts to engage a gear with a lot of banging and crashing from the back.

Are your brake lights working???

Don't know about the brake lights, it's at a yard for transportation to Giallo in the morning.
Even if it is the brake light switch I need The Slow Down light reset anyway.
