Finished. And threw in Lunges as well, so it was 5 circuits, of 7 exercises, of 20 reps. Set the Tabata timer for 30 sec per exercise, with 15 sec rest between each, and then 1 min rest between circuits.

What I learned. It’s quite hard, and you will sweat. Do lunges last, as it’s tough to do 20 strictly in 30 secs, so you need to over run into the rest time.

Now it’s your turn. (Took me just over half an hour, as slowed a bit on the last circuit!)

week 4 weigh in for me today

1st April - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.4kg; fat 27.0kg
8th April - Weight 92.3kg; Lean mass 66.6kg; fat 25.7kg
15th April - Weight 91.9kg; Lean mass 66.4kg, fat 25.5kg
21st April - weight 91.0kg; Lean mass 65.9kg; fat 25.1kg
28th April - Weight 90.6kg; Lean mass 66.1; fat 24.5kg

This means I have just dipped under 200lbs! Which is a milestone of sorts....

Still a long, long way to go though, and progress is a bit slower than I was hoping for.

It's progress though. Don't lose sight of that.

Looking at it you appear to be losing about a half kilo to a kilo. That's 1-2 lbs and pretty much a perfect rate.

Very well done!
Exercise, isn’t easy whatever level you’re at. It’s very much self discipline and finding a balance that keeps you motivated.
Keep it up.

Thanks C - I know you’re right, and to be fair I’m probably only a kg behind where I would be happy with... If I could consistently lose a kg a week, that would be fine with me.

thanks Wattie - funnily enough, self-discipline and balance are not words that are often used about me! I tend to be more all or nothing, and am not great at consistency....

I wouldn’t be disheartened by that. If you’ve taken your foot off the gas a bit then it’s pleasing to see such little change.

How are you getting on with your 100 challenge Jon? Just did mine for the second time, having taken Mon, Tue and Wed as rest days!

Ha - less well than you! I tried mine on Sunday and realised partway through that I’m just not fit enough to do 10 sets of 10 reps of the 10 exercises...

I think I may need to pick 5 of the 10 exercises and do 5 sets of 20 reps...

Do not despair.
I tried running up 33 floors today......I just realised “I’m just not fit enough”

That would still be a good work out, at 500 exercises in total. Especially if you pick the ones you find hardest (which for me, would be sit-ups).
I lengthened the time scale for my session today. 35 seconds for each exercise, then 20 secs rest. 5 rounds, of the 7 exercise circuit, with 50 sec rest between rounds. Took me just under 40 mins in total.

I wouldn't have a hope in **** of doing that many. I'd not even manage the burpees
