I would agree with that myselfIt's a bit rich for me to be picky, but if I were in the market for a 612 I would prefer a more inspiring interior and exterior colour.
Good point, I remember silver being popular in the late 90s too with tax free Mercs, white was shunned.My theory is that silver with a dark interior was a popular “alternative” sports car choice in the early noughties. It was a bit futuristic. I remember when we specced the DB9 around then, AM mentioned someone had asked for the ferrari pale silver colour and they could do it. Then every car started being silver, so it got chosen less often on the most expensive ones.
