Possibly, but if that’s the case how many are already dead or dying behind locked doors as it would take years to check on all of those households.
The cruise ship is a mini community (better sanitation). The infection rate on it will give an insight into what’s going on in China - and as one of a few thousand they have a better chance of correct medical care than those in China where hospitals are clearly overwhelmed.

The figures of infected coming out of China relate to what? Tests done 3 weeks ago, yesterday, last month.....what? A simple PSA test here takes about 5 days.....what’s their turnaround time for the results they’re publishing.

To end on a positive note, America has the best experts in the world and has offered assistance. Once it’s learnt to count up the DMC votes cast a day ago.

Japan says 273 people on the cruise ship were tested and 61 were found positive, and the 41 new patients have been sent to hospitals in 5 separate prefectures.
So what on Earth is happening in all those Chinese tower blocks......

This is what I said to my wife last night. Who is treating/ diagnosing all those people locked up at home on their own.

The source for Uk Govt Modelling was Sky news tonight.....reporter quoted it outside the hospital where 3 case is.

They’re what were mentioned earlier in the post

Hmm, still can't find a primary source of it.

Interesting. But no one actually knows. Primary source :(

If there are more people locked up at home, then the mortality rate is lower ;)
(Unless of course we aren't counting deaths somewhere along the line)

The deaths arent necessarily the important thing here although ultimately that’s the tragedy.
The problem is that this virus appears to be spreading rapidly all over the world -unchecked. that’s a huge issue for the health of millions, global economy supply chains, business profitability and everyone’s lifestyle and welfare.
if the deaths/infections are being under reported then the situation is even worse than the current perception and that is currently pretty horrendous.

I'm starting to believe that this $hit is serious

Not been one for cruises, floating cess pits and Environmentally disastrous. At least flying is honest about its co2 emissions and is actively reducing them.

I understand the chinese government knew of the outbreak months in advance and did sweet fa, in which time god knows how many people carrying the dormant virus would have flown out of the country spreading it worldwide

But that is the narrative in all situations....

Reporter: "Mr Pundit, what do you have to say about the appalling widget crisis we find ourselves in today?"
A Pundit: "The government knew about the problem with widgets months ago and took no action. Now they are responsible for a huge cover up in relation to the massive widget crisis."
A Bureaucrat: "Look, we got some early indications of a possible widget problem, but we get these all the time, so it is hard to know what a proportionate response. But once it started to look moderately serious, we got on the case."
A Scientist: "This widget situation is starting to look moderately serious, but it is by no means a crisis, and everyone should settle down."
Reporter: "So the massive widget crisis continues, exacerbated by the appallingly slow response by the government."

That, sir, is a very elegant analysis

if it hits the wrong bits of Africa it’ll be like the bubonic plague!
And the sad fact (IMHO) is that this is what the world needs, there are too many people on this earth, the population is rapidly expanding, and we only have finite resources, more of us living longer consuming more, this is the real cause of climate change.
50% (if untreated)

Fear not,
“he will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone. Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!

So, quite simple really....turn up your heating and the virus hopefully will weaken.
Problem eradicated.
The US of A Is on the case, as it’s now learned to count.

Rumours that 400 million. 3 provinces and over 60 cities are now in lockdown......Guangzhou City (population: 14 M) locked down. All residential blocks be isolated from each other- well look at the cruise ships.
Do your own research.

We've just been advised that our LED lighting orders will probably be delayed......

No one has been at work for at least a week.

No smoke without fire as they say.
