Possibly,but if that’s the case how many are already dead or dying behind locked doors as it would take years to check on all of those households.
The cruise ship is a mini community (better sanitation). The infection rate on it will give an insight into what’s going on in China - and as one of a few thousand they have a better chance of correct medical care than those in China where hospitals are clearly overwhelmed.
The figures of infected coming out of China relate to what? Tests done 3 weeks ago, yesterday, last month.....what? A simple PSA test here takes about 5 days.....what’s their turnaround time for the results they’re publishing.
To end on a positive note, America has the best experts in the world and has offered assistance. Once it’s learnt to count up the DMC votes cast a day ago.

Japan says 273 people on the cruise ship were tested and 61 were found positive, and the 41 new patients have been sent to hospitals in 5 separate prefectures.
So what on Earth is happening in all those Chinese tower blocks......
