Black 47 is a cracking film about the potato blight which to be fair affected the whole of Europe not just Ireland. The crux was the Brits took whatever there was left and left the Irish with nothing.

What a mess the Uk is in.

Failing to close the border out the outset must now rank as the biggest and most expensive political mistake in history.
Expecting contact tracing to have worked ranks a very close second.

An island was the perfect defence against the disease. They invited it in and fecked it.

Queensland’s Pm shut our borders.
It’s affected the hospitality sector ( bail outs provided) but we’ve been literally covid free for months. Life is normal, luckily.

I've joined a motorhome forum as they've got some good member discounts , **** me they're a bunch of moaning old ***** , I've already had to put 3 of them on ignore

Unwatching coronavirus threads so I don't get sucked in is like ******* whack a mole , they can't all post in one thread as their moan is far too important to get lost in all the other moans

I think it's because they're all old so think the world should go bankrupt to protect them

They could protect themselves by not going out as they're all on a fixed income but that's too easy

Joining a motor home forum? FFS. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out what comes next; someone who takes the decision to fck up miles of traffic for their own reason deserves to be butt fcked with a ragman’s trumpet. Anyone joining them knowing this deserves to get the trumpet inserted sideways. WTF is wrong with you??

I think the Tesco there was one of the first to have SCO (Self Check Out) machines. The chippy in Heanor was cracking though!
