Well just took the opportunity to take out the car between the rain and salty roads. Having not driven her since November forgot what fun she can be. Can't wait for the dry roads again. Cold weather again next week so who knows when I will get my maserati fix again.

Don't know how you do it...I would have to drive her at least a few times a week if not every day...Since November..that would kill me.

Agree with you there Andy i get withdrawal symptons when i can't get out in mine.
They need using although i don't enjoy the salty dirty and potholed roads at the minute.

Mine behaved faultlessly the last three days from Essex to Buxton on wed & back today; the drive up was filthy and foggy but back was great if a little greasy from the salt & ice and just a small amount of spray...

Moments on the M1 & M25 were almost bilical! You know.... 'the parting of the water' as the cars in front pulled out of the way!!! Trouble with that is you tend to accelerate into the gap and before you know it.....

Need a fix everey few days to keep the perma-smile!!!

Took mine for a 30 mile run the other day. The winter tyres made a great difference to traction and the handling with them seemed fine but I was taking it pretty gentle at this time of year. Great cars worth buttons!

Yeah your right there Bob can't believe the 4200 can keep dropping though?
Sureley there is going to be a time when they will start going up in value.
Most of my cars have been top end cars but always bought for a fraction of their original purchase price, its just something i like todo as it gives me a buzz.

Agreed they have to bottom out. CAP clean for an 05 4200 is £18k but you cannot trade them for that. Depreciation is about £2/2.5k pa. Cannot see them much below £10k ever.

Just done my 45 mile run coud'nt do the gorge though as police had closed it so we had a good run out and did two piers instead Weston and Clevedon.
Good times and not too much traffic.

Put my foot down in second gear on a corner and the back end came out a little, greasy roads, great fun.

If I was a better driver I would do it more often, but not much experience driving like a lunatic and don't won't to push my luck.
