Dealer might dress it up as £16k for the invoice but you would get £1.5/2k off the GS without a trade in so £14k ish would be the truer figure.

I still believe that you can with sonme Dem...but very rare....If you get £500 then thats the standard sort of money off......Love to know of someone who has got big money off a GS as everytime I've tried thats been a bit of a urban myth.....I've had £500 and goodies thrown in..extended warrenty etc but 1.5k/2k off a car has never come along.....It the cars been sat there for an age then it may be easier....The dealer will always have some money in the car for px so they can make it more attractive for the buyer but thats not usually more than £500-£800............

To be fair I have never bought a GS but I've bought a load of £35-40k (my natural price point) German metal over the years and always get £1.5/2k off.

Get ADG to value your car and find out how much they really have spare in the cars on the forecourt. Sure some will need £4k of prep but most will need less than £2k even including a warranty (latter any use unless it is Maserati's own brilliant one?). Gross margins of £8k are still common with Masers even on £20-30k retail price cars.

PS I reckon 57 plate GTs will fast get to £39995 retail out of the Maserati network. That will quickly stop anyone but a true enthusiast paying over £30k for a GS. All IMHO obviously.

Back to the original post, I took mine out today for the first time for a few weeks. It's a very pleasent surprise when I pushed the accelerator, got me playing a bit harder than I should.
Is it just me or are they slightly more powerful in the cold weather?
