Back to the original post, I took mine out today for the first time for a few weeks. It's a very pleasent surprise when I pushed the accelerator, got me playing a bit harder than I should.
Is it just me or are they slightly more powerful in the cold weather?

...might have been just the old cold tyre syndrome.......feels as if you're putting more power onto the road....but just less grip....

Two things....Its silver and for some reason they don't sell so well...I think its lovely...and 2 it needs a service and some are put off by what the bill could be. Si is better off getting it serviced now and it would be far more attractive.......

Silver looks good on the GS IMO, shows the lines of the car really well. If it needs a service then i would get it done, is it a minor or a major one?

Took mine up to the Lakes over the new year. Had a great drive up the A591 through Windermere and on up to Keswick and then across to Penrith. Great roads and the car behaved faultlessly, as always. Even the M6 was fun once we got past Preston, though the throttle pedal seemed to get stuck if you know what I mean.

Any oppountity as long as roads are dry with no salt and I will be out in the car, will be icy next week
