Ok lets make it £50
For every German car skanker, sorry owner, who donates, Italian cars owners will match that amount
It's for the NHS guys!
Mat will sort out the cash on behalf of the SM Forum

Benny you can start, as you own that awful Audi thing!

I have two Mercedes tins of Ronseal , an SLK and a CLK boring and souless to drive ,but do exactly what's described on the tin , I knew though what I was buying a certain degree of reliability and both have done that admirably .
Without an Italian in my life id be lost for ups and downs and no adrenaline rushes

Sorry mate, I don’t own an awful Audi thing; the Mrs does and it’s not awful. It’s a mechanical masterclass but it lacks soul. However, it is extremely competent and a great drivers car for getting to places across country very quickly. Frighteningly quickly at times.

Just had a look on Autotrader and you get a lot of car for your money indeed.

You do Phil.....V8 6's from this era are great value if you get a good one. Great place to be in and effortless performance.....645 starts around 3k and 650 around 5k for higher mile cars. Not many V8's at that money.

I hankered after the 635CSi from the 80's - the M-series one with the Getrag gearbox with dog-leg first gear. Went to look at 630CSi in Birkenhead, (Thought there was only the 2.8 and 3.5 in UK) but it was knackered, rough as feck and engine rocked like mad - mountings gone I reckon.

Seen one recently, I don't think the styling has stood the test of time unlike the earlier series.
That short ratio box in the E24 is fantastic. I preferred it to the M635 CSI experience...

Oh and here’s some filth from two great newer Sixes we featured.

You’ve got to be careful though, as with the Maseratis the cheap ones tend to bite you on the **** maintenance wise. When I was looking for mine there was some right dogs about.

Yes agree......I had a 645 and the engines are pron to oil leaks and also the gear box can throw a dizzy fit and that costs a shed load to put right. Luckily mine was fine...

Hi Andy it’s Individual Velvet Blue very rare on the e63 series. 74000 full history. I haven’t got it advertised yet as seems pointless when people can’t travel to view. If you want any info let me know and I’ll pm some over to you

Ok here you go

2006 650i Sport individual
Velvet Blue metallic with Champagne nappa leather
74000 miles
Full service history
MOT until August 2020
It really is a nice example
£9500 price negotiable
I will be removing the reg plate and it will revert to YK56MXN
Exterior
Apart from a few stone chips here and there the paint is perfect. I bit of nerving on the passenger front wheel.
Interior
Little bit of wear on the drivers seat bolster but otherwise immaculate
Mechanical
Front discs and pads recently changed no oil or water leaks. Aircon all good. It really doesn’t need anything.

Im the sixth owner , looking back at the hpi history it was a dealer car and then changed hands a few times in the early years. The last owner was an enthusiast and had it for over 4 years.

I looked around for ages before I found this car it really does stand out from the crowd.

As I have far too much time on my hands at the moment I'm thinking about my next work horse.

Even though I don't like BMW's, I actually quite fancy a BMW 640i Diesel.

Probably around the 2013-14-15 vintage.

Anyone had one? Thought?
I can't actually believe how affordable F12/F13 640d's are right now... for the looks, economy and torque I think they represent great value for money. My friend had one from new, recently chopped it in for a Porker (and yes, I did try and tempt him into a GranTurismo) - but loved it as his daily driver.

BTW - the rear seats aren't that bad. Seriously. If you want **** rear seats, try climbing into the back of an 'X100' XK8. I'm not the tallest at 5'8", and the 640d rear seats were deceptively bigger than I anticipated.
