Bollox it is. It's three cars in one which gives you an average price of only £50k per car. So enough with the self-pitying whining and get one bought.Teeny bit out of my price range I fear.

2 Strads? Did I miss something ?No idea but when I get it you can walk back from the pub! Incidentally I have 2 Strads, GTV 3.2 V6, Opel GT, Alfa Brera Spider and the beloved R14 so phooey to you sir
Briefly, 4 seater sold same day but it’s still on my drive so I’m counting it2 Strads? Did I miss something ?
Anyone planning any car changes this year?
After 8 years of the Ferrari 400i, my plan this year is to swap it for something else from the 1970-80 period.
Current contenders are:
Maserati Khamsin or Bora
Lamborghini Espada or Jarama
Aston Martin DBS V8 has an outside chance also.
Let the fun of the hunt begin!
what color is it?Briefly, 4 seater sold same day but it’s still on my drive so I’m counting it
Might be tempted to part with my unique Vanquish for the right money. If you saw my recent post on the adding mileage thread you will see after 13 years it’s won most concours it’s eligible for and perhaps time for a new owner. V12 Aston box certainly ticked thereI guess there's two or three itches left to scratch
V12
Aston
Supercharger
This could go very bad indeed......

Hope the supply and sub markets are better there than here...haven't started my addition yet, and not sure 23 is the year...Get the garage built, been discussing it for too long, plans in place just need to get a builder to commit
Corrosion on a Vanquish sounds odd. It's a fully carbon body. Do you mean the subframe? An untreated QP would be worse! Regardless, both are wonderful machines (but one has considerably more useful rear seats).I’m hoping to finally get back into a QP GTS this year. Ideally 2011-2012 model.
I’m also tempted by the v12 Vanquish S but having seen a few the corrosion is a big concern. If I can get into both this year I would be a happy man.
The Vanquish I think from around 2014 was carbon bodied. The Vantage is aluminium-bodied and can have corrosion in a few small areas. Mine did and was treated under warranty. The v12 Vanquish has aluminium panels and having seen a few that are currently for sale they tend to have corrosion around the panel edges.

Is it a GS or QP?May end up selling mine as 1300 miles in 4 years and c£7k + over the same period keeping it in tip top condition is hardly sensible motoring.
I know what I would go for… The Khamsin has been my favourite Maserati since it came out, I finally got to drive a one a few months ago but it needs some work, hence my trip to Modena in September to visit some in the know. The advice I got was to go for the best you can get as restoration cost is high compared to the relatively modest market price (for an Italian supercar of that era). Another problem is that it’s never been registered ANYWHERE since it left the factory so there is a risk there, including potential import duties. Decisions decisions..storage and the wife are additional challenges unless I get rid of something else which I don’t really want to do either. Unless that bucket of money appears of course..did I just convince myself not to do it?I had a Khamsin about 14 years ago, but sold it just before they quadrupled in value. Hey ho!
It was a very lovely car, fun to drive and reliable. Who knows, it may well win the fight.
Of my options, the Khamsin is my wife’s favourite...
I always get rid of the wife. Also tends to create space in the garage.I know what I would go for… The Khamsin has been my favourite Maserati since it came out, I finally got to drive a one a few months ago but it needs some work, hence my trip to Modena in September to visit some in the know.
