Never been to a dinner party in my life.

Do have a Merc estate but I think that just means I wee myself it’s not class specific.
So you've never ever been invited to wine and pic up bits at one of your neighbour's ever?
MI5 are looking to hire!

I think my aroma of EP90 and used engine oil puts them off.

Seriously though I have had dinner with groups of friends which could be called a dinner party but it’s not what I imagine as a dinner party from my 1980s childhood.

Been down to costco?

I buy my loo roll from Who Gives a Cr@p

It's cheap, good enough quality, sustainable and profits go to a good cause

Risking making this a serious conversation (sorry!) I spent a bit of time reading their website last night and what they say seems good to me. I presume the quality compares well to the regular supermarket stuff?
We are working our way through a bulk Amazon order which was insanely cheap / mispriced back in Nov, but something more sustainable appeals a lot.

I confess I'm rather attracted to the idea as well

The premium loo roll is (in my opinion) good enough it is made from bamboo. The recycled rolls are not great. The premium rolls are also quite large so they last a decent amount of time

I believe you can order a sample pack which has the two types of loo roll, face tissues and kitchen roll and you can use that to make your mind up if it's worth taking the plunge.

One box of the premium rolls is enough to last two of us for 6 months

I remember reading an advert. for an early brand of toilet paper. Their tagline was "Guaranteed No Splinters"......

I sh1t myself once, the ex-mrs in her usual style was cooking bacon by just slamming the lot in the grill at maximum heat and leaving it. I decided to check it, opened the grill door and flames leapt out and nearly took my face off, and let out a little sh1t/fart bubble. Totally involuntary. If I hadn't have reacted and ducked back so quickly my career as a successful male model would have been truncated, leaving me with just the Elephant Man roles CatmanV2 has cornered.

Called the Fire Brigade, this was Annan, SW Jockland, best emergency they ever had, six tenders turned up as did 47% of the population of Annan.
