I've got that issue, really had me going when first happened, now I know to make sure I wiggle the key its fine!
I first experienced it the day I collected the car
Got it away form the previous owners house ok, and parked up and had a look around / conversation with my wife, all ok.
Then we stopped again to set sat navs, still ok.
Finally, we are on the road and get separated / sat navs take different routes.
Being in a new and unfamiliar car, I hadn't checked the fuel gauge, and, well, we all know these things are quite thirsty.
I then realise that my wallet is in the other car...
So, my intro to Maserati ownership was going to a petrol station - asking if I could try to use my mobile phone contactless payment - which I'd never done before - to then get 30 quid of fuel.
Returning to the car to realise:
a. I had no idea where the fuel cap release button was.
b. When I eventually opened the glove box, the button made a sound but didn't open the flap.
c. Realising that passenger side glove box buttons and drivers side fuel caps are very awkward to press and see simultaneously.
and finally, when the whole 'car collection day' was already ruined, my flakey 1st entry to anything like Italian exotica rewarded me with no working indicators, aircon or wipers (but I think the scoosher still worked!)
