It just makes me laugh when someone who knows very little about the market thinks that prices will fall when 100% of people who work in the industry think prices will continue to rise.

Where he gets his information from I don't know. Probably an unscrupulous broker who is just trying to tie him down to a flex contract that will keep going up in price every month.

I guess you can't help those who don't want to be helped.

A little bit of information can sometimes be too much information. Not enough is an issue, too much and a little can be dangerous, but equally, when I think I know about something, I won't be told.....

Think Rolls Royce and others are already looking at this approach as part of a more regional solution to power generation. So having more but much smaller generators could be the future. But still no one has addressed the elephant in the room..what do you do with the nuclear waste?
That's obvious. Barrel it up, weight it down and drop it in the lakes..... ;)

Prepare for incoming flack Phil; I got roasted earlier in the week for a similar comment about David Attenborough!

A 45 minute programming by David Attenborough is credited with changing the habits of hundreds of millions of people and many company’s products, with possibly a greater positive impact on the environment than all the charities, foundations and political parties put together.

The only thing Purdy standing on a beach in the Caribbean is likely to change is some OAP in Bournemouth’s Tena for men.

Bonus Joanna Lumley trivia alert : she screen tested for a part in Gerry Anderson's 'UFO' in 1969 as one of the purple wigged Moonbase dolly birds, but the part went to Gabriel Drake instead. In 1976 Miss Drake screen tested for the part of Purdy in 'The New Avengers' but the part went to Miss Lumley.

Good 'ere, innit ;)

Show that to the Gulf of Mexico. That’ll make it feel better.

Being less flippant - have you seen any other mines or oil wells? It’s all vile. But unless we go back to having a global population of <1bn (which I’m not against) living in mud huts (which I am against) then we will need to mine stuff and mess up some areas of the planet. What we need to be careful of is systematically messing up the entire planet.

Open pit cyanide mines are particularly disgusting. Crushing mountains for 6g of gold per ton of material, permanently scarring the landscape and poisoning the local water table...

But then when it was all over some of the Attenborough production crew took some time out flying off all over the world for a short holiday

And now currently showing every day on the horror channel (6:00pm). Brings back old memories and loving it! Also didn't know that the coach driver from the Italian Job is one of the Interceptor pilots!

I remember reading an article in Speed and Power in the 70’s about Ed’s car. Apparently it was undrivable as you need legs 6 ft long to reach the pedals. And it’s amazing what the 1980s were supposed to look like according to Gerry Anderson....
