Not that I’m in the position but I keep returning to a conundrum - a new Roma for £200k+ with options, or a Ferrari 599 HGTE/612 Scaglietti OTO for around half the price. Not quite like with like - the Roma is likely to be financed more, and you get a warranty - but it’s not as if the older cars are slow, they have naturally aspirated V12s and are modern enough to have the tech you need rather than superfluous stuff. The Roma is prettier, but both the 599 and 612 have a similar elegance to them (compared to the brutal designs at Ferrari over the past ten years). It’s a tricky one, as I really love the Roma’s design, but the Nat/asp V12 is such a thing...
