Jam, whats the deal with the seat backs, do you simply remove the cloth and the rubberised coating is under there or do you have to strip glue and refinish it?

If so, what coating did you use?

Looks the business and as Peter says, are you doing the dash and door cards....in for a penny....

I like that a lot. Really works well - I'm sure it will be superb when back in the car.

I'm finally getting time to re-trim the interior while she is off the road for winter. I took a while to decide on the colour of the replacement for the baby blue technocloth. In the end I went for Saphire Blue Nappa leather(I know its not everyones taste) to replace all the current technocloth.

I will post pictures as the car is done (pictures so far):

Just love.....Love two tone leather....Good work.

My that does look good - got to say I have discounted cars because of the tech cloth,

If Maserati had done this I may have been tempted - Is it rude to ask the cost - some have indicated £2k ish on here.

£2k would be a good deal, the seats are easy but the dash is a nightmare job. The trimmer does look to have done a good job with the seats.

It was more than 2k with this trimmer but still a very good price. The quotes I received varied between 2k and 4k for the same job, I decided not to go with the cheapest for this job. The dash is a nightmare job but this trimmer seemed to know exactly what was required. I cannot wait to get it back

Thought so, £3000+ for a good proper job with good quality leather, hence the premium of £3k or so for a full leather car.

Definitely closer to 2k than 3k Dicky. I picked the nappa leather from the premium sample book so I hope it is good as I think.

Looks fantastic, they're clearly very good at what they do. I also vastly prefer the shade of blue you've chosen over the Maserati Scurro blue - not a fan personally.

Jam - I like that, its the colour I was looking to do

also as Matt said about the back of the seats, how ?

for the vents I found these were just plastic, took the flake chrome off, applied a plastic primer and re-sprayed them with chrome and then a thin matt lacquer to seal the chrome paint - job done and standard :) but do like just the black finish that the others did - job added to list....

Enzo,

I ended up buying all new chrome vents for front and back, lazy I know. I looked at chroming plastic companies but just bought new.

I have no idea about the back of the seats, I will ask them though. They said they are happy to answer any questions received from this forum.
