Totally agree, Andy, but only in the right colour. Suits greys well. Sadly the FF is beyond my budget unless I move to a small house with nowhere to park it. :frusty5:

c4sman - you're right, it's a rare 599 still in the 140s, but I can't help but feel that there'll be continued downward price pressures from the FF. I can't see the lowest end of the price spread dropping much below 70 but surely the more expensive end will continue to drift south?

Talking further on this topic with Meridien it seems to be a trend that 'post analgue Ferraris' ie California, 458, and the FF bottom out at about 60% of new including options save for high milers. F12s play by their own rules. Whereas pre digital V8 fezzas ie 430 and 360 hit 50% typically and V12s ie 612, 599, 575 and 550 hit 40% before climbing back up.
The cheapest FF is £149950 but has bland spec and high miles and typically new with options were 270k so appears to bear this out. Calis have bottomed at 85 to 90k, 458s have bottomed at 125k.

I suppose a good late 612 in black or Silverstone at under a ton would hold well at the very least.

Hope your right that 599s continue to drop ;). More saving time...

Hang on so the lowest price an FF will drop to is £160? If they only drop to 60% of their original value??

Needs to drop lower than that. I want a grey non shouty one and I will de badge it.

That would seam to be what is expected but high milers with little option spec will always be a good bit less I suppose.

Some dealers are currently offering 150 ish for low mileage 2011 models in the right colours so they must be confident of demand and price point.

Thanks for your collective wisdom/wit on this decision. Having taken all comments into consideration I have decided a test drive is in order. Will let you know...

barbuckle, I think I speak on behalf of us all when I insist most strongly that you report back with full haste and much detail. Have you identified a target?

If this takes your fancy please buy it, look after it well and call me in two years, 15,000 miles and £50k of depreciation. I'll bite yer arm off.
