May be it is a little bit of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" type attitude. But then I've never experienced that with Yacht sales people that take deposits worth more than a brand new Ferrari.

May be the majority of Ferrari/Maser customers are arrogant and unpleasant to deal with (with exception to our good selves, of course!) and it rubs off on the sales people?

I've found that FM dealers will always negotiate a price without attitude. Conversely, a close friend when buying a 911 asked the Porsche salesman can we talk about the price to which he replied you can pay more if you want to.

As regards FM owners, while at the main dealer waiting for my car etc the other owners quite often talk and I've never actually detected any attitude from the them.
