If you look at the two sweaters that have been for sale most have been up for an age. They seem to be very slow sellers in a very limited market.

I see three for sale here (well, 4, but the thread starter has bought 1): http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...d=stradale&KeywordCleanedValue=stradale&M=719

There were 480 2 seater stradales made, worldwide. I forget how many are in the UK.

There are 128 Gran Tourismos for sale on the same website, removing these 4 stadales. How many Gran Tourismos were made?

To me it seems very few 2 door stradales are for sale, and those who have them are sitting on them, so to speak?

Gosh, am I sounding biased again :)

I take that back, there are 4 for sale. This 2 seater 2011 with the newer type scoop bonnet?? Did not know those existed? Or maybe the bonnet was retro fitted?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...anturismo-v8-mc-stradale-2dr-mc-shift/6582929

Yes retro fit.....I love the Stradale 2 seater and it is the one I would have. The only point I am making is that the ones that thes for sale currently have been for sale for an age. Very few for sale for sure as owners don't end to love them and they must be a car worth sitting on but if you are selling then expect to sit tight for the right buyer to come along as they don't seem to shift that quick. The two that Dick Lovett have haven't been up for long mind you and the white one at 75k looks stunning but with 4.seaters starting around 5k more they may struggle at that price as it feels like most would have the 4 seater over the two.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Yeah roll on Friday that's all I can say!!
The one I went for was the one for sale at GC motors Harrogate.
White with the carbon bits exterior and interior.
Anyone know the car and previous owner?

Thanks tom.

What did you give for it? I was negotiating it at early £60's. the car used to have the MC graphics over it which I liked but the dealer removed them for some reason.

It look nearly a year to sell.

That's what keeps the average miles on these cars down as they sit gathering dust at dealerships.

.. or rather they are bought as weekend toys, pampered and not used much? I have done 2K miles on mine since July, but that amount of use is dropping. I probably take her out 2 or 3 times a month now.

Regarding the idea that there are many for sale, and take a long time to shift. I can sort of agree. There are only 4 2 seaters here. One, the ropiest, was on sale for 3 months and the dealer would not budge on his price, he was convinced he had me hooked with no alternative, I was almost begging them to take my money. Then another came up, private, and I bought it unseen during the first phone call to the owner. He had it up for sale for less than a day. These are quirky cars, and the right buyers do come along.

Just out of interest, do you think these stats are right: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=✓&q=maserati+gran+tourismo

Here, from another site, are the stradale 2 door sales details:

From Maserati Factory:

Thats a total of 497 pcs

"Following your request and our previous email our main offices informs us that to date , the following number of MC Stradale (2 seater) have been produced:

Europe: A Total of 225pieces
China 45
Hong Kong 12
Taiwan 23
Japan: 33
Overseas Markets: a total of 159 pieces

Wow, very low numbers!
I didn't pay the asking price and got a bit off so I'm happy with what is/was the cheapest 2 seat stradale on the market that hasn't been written off etc.
There is one on sale at shaks specialist cars that's done 40k miles and it's £67995. That car hampered me getting too much money off mine as the dealer would compare mine to that, as mine has done 25k miles.

That Shaks one has been for sale for over a yet I think. It makes yours look great value with the miles they have on it.

It's strange, the 40k miles ones price keeps going up and down all the time.
The other day I noticed it had gone down to £64995, which helped me get mine for less, then a day later it went upto £67995!? Strange!

I'd say you got a good deal and the mileage is low too. You just need to temperature to warm up so that you can enjoy it - avoid race mode at these temps for sure!

It's a shame it's this time of year, but I was ready to pull the trigger and happy with the deal so went for it, I didn't want to risk loosing the car. I won't use the car until April/may.
I will go careful tomorrow on the long drive down south, but might be tempted to press the race button....once maybe!? Ha ha

It has been anything from 65k to 74k over the last year. I think it had the number plate on the bonnet at one stage as well.

Don't if it's on the proper P Zero Corsas unless it's over 6deg and the tyres are warm. The tyres don't work when cold and are not designed for greasy roads. They made sense when it's warm and dry though. The brakes don't work either for about a mile or two when cold. Careful.

Very true, I drove mine today on P Zero Corsas over to Shiltech which was a 3 hour round trip and it was hairy at times to say the least as the temperature didn't get above -1. It was worth the trip though, the X-Pipe it is now sporting is just sublime!

What's the difference in sound level with the X-Pipe fitted Stuart?

When I drove Blondies yellow two seater I must say It sounded lovely and really didn't think it needed more noise. Great straight out of the box and from the look and thumbs up from bystanders they seem to feel the same.
