Just bought a stradale

A man after my own heart Stu. I did have a look at the Larini back boxes too however 1) They are a fortune and 2) I'm totally happy with the sound now. I agree that it's ideal and doesn't need any more fettling.

Installing the BMC was a mission. How many screws to get the engine covers off!! Thinking about having those covers carbon hydrodipped, just to make it look more interesting when you pop the hood.

I cheated, the car was being serviced by Marshall before I collected it and I gave it to them to fit.
I don't know if it will be an improvement over OEM but it's better made and just needs to be cleaned rather than replaced at each service so better all round

Stuart - can I ask how much the Larini x-pipe was from Shiltech? I've looked on their web-page and can see prices for back boxes and Sport cats, but can't see a price for the x-pipe... I'm still undecided whether I want / need to put an x-pipe on mine, as opinions seem to differ how much difference it would make given that I have the grandad's Auto slush/gearbox...

I only had them fit it as I already had an X-pipe 'in stock' from my GTS but the prices for all Larini components are now listed on their website, they are subject to VAT & delivery

stradales don't have front parking sensors. I would guess it's a mistake or miss-labeled add.

Yeti on here had his covers dipped on his Stradale, they do look very nice

Well what a car!! I'm very happy!! Horrible weather yesterday driving home, non stop rain, car got filthy. Cleaned her this morning, so looking beautiful again.
Been getting to know her today as the weather here was sunny and was warmer.
I'm in love.

I have been a few times as its quite local, not sure on price as if I cant afford it I dont look really,,, but it has varied a bit.... looks miles better without the clart tho..IMO..enjoy, welcome to the madness and get involved with the club, you wont be disappointed....
