Looking good, Rags. Glad you got the wheels sorted. My rears are back in to get a couple of wrench-chips out that they clearly missed in the final inspection. Seems they have to spray the whole wheel again. Really hoping I don't end up with a colour mis-match between fronts and rear or they'll all be back in. Again.

Mine seem to have been sorted well with a good colour match. I hope yours come out well.

I took a drive to meridian modena in lyndhurst today which is only about 7 miles from where I am staying. Nice dealership actually but plagued with New Forest tourists. They have a gorgeous Alpha 8c spyder in the showroom!! That car is mega in the looks department. They also have a Mistral Spyder for sale at around £200k in a lovely mint green colour just in case someone fancies one!!

That showroom is to be avoided, Rags. I've never trusted myself to spend too much time in Lyndhurst as there's generally something tantalising in Meridien's window.

My wheels look pretty good, thanks. I've Swissvaxed them (incredible stuff) and they came up so shiny I started to think the colour was wrong! Looking forward to getting them back again on Weds with the wrench-chips on the rears filled and repainted. *sigh*

Yes very nice showroom in a lovely location and in reality much bigger than first impressions suggest. Seems like a pretty posh neighbourhood around there so good selling territory. Pity they keep the showroom glass doors locked - well they were at around 1pm yesterday which struck me as very odd - both of the Maz and Ferrari sections. Maybe because they are bang in the middle of the high street and there are lots of tourists there in the summer? Regardless its a very nice showroom with lovely cars and nice people working there (found out once I eventually got in!).

Its quite unbelievable but the car seems to get appreciated every day! Love it to bits!! Yesterday pulled up at the gym and there was a guy there in a black GTS who was about to leave and he said it looked lovely in the white and black combo. He also appreciated all the carbon fibre inside and out. Said he had never considered getting his in white but he wish he had as it makes it stand out.

Then today, I literally got stopped by a blonde woman who walked passed the car in the car park as I was driving out, then she did an about turn and knocked on my window to ask me what it was. As I said about to say Mas...she said yep a Maserati. Said it looked utterly lovely. I got dirty looks occasionally when I had my Porsche and M3 but in this it just feels like a lot of affection and appreciation of the car and the brand. And its happened so many times. Feels real good driving it around!
